The Guardian Green Card is a member of the Club Alliance Network
The UCSD Guardian Green Card is a discount pass to services and products that we market and distribute to UCSD students (and staff) during the school year (Sept. 23, 2008 to June 4, 2009).
Offers expire Sept. 8, 2009 (negotiable).
A Green Card member enters a favored business partnership with the UCSD Guardian advertising and marketing team. A contract buy of $560 includes the following:
- Six FREE display ads (size: 4” x 4”) spread out throughout the school year (Sept. 23 to June 4). Your ad will often appear on a special page listing of other Green Card partners
- A year-round link on a special GREEN CARD PARTNER web page at www.ucsdguardian.org.
- If you have a web site, we’ll place your business in a rotation of tile ads on our home page that can link to your own web site or to the Guardian’s Green Card web site
- An 11 x 17 poster permanently displayed on a Guardian newspaper rack on the UC San Diego campus. The art can be your logo and card discount or any art of your choice.
- Free mentions in Guardian newspaper promo ads
- Your discount offer is listed on on-campus flyers (posted the day of your ad)
- You are welcome to arrange an appearance on campus to distribute product samples or discount offers in conjunction with a GUARDIAN PROMO TEAM event. Our students are energetic marketers and have a lot of fun! Among last year’s promos we staged with ad partners was a Cinco De Mayo taco booth and a Hip Hop music and dance party at the Sun God Festival
- We can usually grant your request for free recruitment ads in Guardian Classifieds and special event display ads
- The distribution of the Guardian Green Card will be expanded with more on-campus handouts, special student organization tie-ins, and the Green Card will be available at more locations on and off campus. Details are being worked out!
