Thursday, April 27: Earl Warren College held their annual Warren Live! concert at Price Center West Ballroom. The night was opened by the UC San Diego student band, Duck Pals with Bruin Acuña on drums and both Ben Redlawsk and Stephen Burt as bassists, guitarists, and vocalists. The Grinns took the stage next: an emerging Orange County band with over 60,000 monthly Spotify listeners, The Grinns played both released and new music for the audience. Australian artist Eddie Benjamin headlined the event. From sitting at the edge of the stage to running up to the barrier to let the crowd strum his guitar, Benjamin gave an engaging performance to his audience. Benjamin played his own music, covered the likes of John Mayer and Fleetwood Mac, and performed his 2022 hit song “Weatherman.” Audience left the night with signed posters, t-shirts, and countless videos taken on their phones to remember the night by.
