Best Vegetarian: Sipz Cafe

Sipz Cafe, to use an old word, is quite frankly the bomb.
Home to what it calls fusion-style vegetarian and vegan food, Sipz has an
awesome yet filling variety of Thai, Chinese, Italian and Vietnamese cuisine.
Even if you’re the carnivorous type and think that vegetarian food isn’t for
you, then you’ve never had their mock meat or soy-based meat products that are
quite honestly just as scrumptious as the real deal. In any case, every meal is
big, served in a huge bowl, at the exact same price of $6.95. The best part about Sipz is that even after
an ample meal, you’ve had such a healthy one that it makes you feel less guilty
about gorging yourself on a bowl and then getting some dessert after. Though
we’ll forgive the hip use of “z” at the end of its restaurant title, Sipz is
the friendliest strictly vegan/vegetarian place in San Diego, providing food
that is both hardy and tasty enough to meat and veggie eaters alike that
they’ll be obliged to visit again, with or without their vegetarian friends.
There are two locations on Clairemont Mesa and Poway Road but your best bet is
Clairemont Mesa, where the waiters are the hottest.
