4:37 p.m. UCSD wins it! With a final score of 84-79, the Tritons will advance to the final for the second year in a row. They’ll face No. 4 seed Hawai’i at 3 p.m. tomorrow. 

4:30 p.m. Norris nabs the ball but can’t convert it down the stretch. Feiman gets the rebound and reaps the rewards when a foul on UCD stretches UCSD’s lead to 10.

4:24 p.m. UCD sinks a triple from the top of the key before a foul gives Ma the opportunity to chip in two free throws. The Tritons maintain a 79-72 lead with less than a minute to go.

4:20 p.m. With less than three minutes on the clock, UCSD leads by 10. Condron is back on the court. She was UCSD’s best response to Norris in the triple-overtime game last month. As the end of the fourth quarter approaches, the Tritons are closing in on the Big West Championship final.

4:13 p.m. Nine points ahead, the Tritons stop Aggie sophomore guard Ryann Bennett from connecting with Norris at the top of the key. If UCSD can keep Norris under control for the next five minutes, the Tritons will clinch a spot in the championship game

4:08 p.m. With six minutes left in the frame, the Tritons maintain their composure. Maxie tallies a triple and then a steal on the next possession.

4:06 p.m. The Aggies inch closer, fouling the Tritons on their way to the net. It’s a one-possession game, 63-60.

3:57 p.m. Condron is called for her fourth foul in the waning minutes of the third quarter. In danger of fouling out, she is quickly replaced by graduate student forward Damilola Sule. The third quarter ends 59-53, UCSD up.

3:55 p.m. Three-point shooting is not typically UCSD’s strong suit; the team struggled to match UCD’s triples the last time the two faced off. Today, though, the Tritons have made seven of 16 from beyond the arc to complement Condron’s aggression in the paint.

3:46 p.m. Redshirt junior guard Rosa Smith builds off of Ma’s contributions, adding 4 points of her own to maintain the Tritons’ advantage. The Aggies, feeling the pressure, struggle to find open looks.

3:43 p.m. Norris nabs a rebound and converts to a 3-pointer. Ma responds by drilling another three on the ensuing possession. UCSD leads by nine.

3:37 p.m. Despite a late Aggie surge that held the Tritons scoreless for the last two minutes, UCSD maintains a 7-point lead going into halftime. UCD is aggressive in the paint, but the Tritons have held it off by controlling the glass, scoring 7 points off of four offensive rebounds.

3:18 p.m. Senior guard Makayla Rose, junior guard Dymonique Maxie, and Feiman chip in threes, and the Tritons are getting hot from beyond the arc. With three minutes left in the second quarter, UCSD leads by 12. 

3:13 p.m. The Aggies keep pace with the Tritons, applying pressure and whittling UCSD’s lead to just one, despite a superb triple from Ma.

3:04 p.m. Freshman guard Lev Feiman nets a steal and drives down the court, sparking a 16-2 Triton run over the last four minutes to push UCSD in front. The Tritons go up 22-17 by the end of the first quarter.

2:53 p.m. Senior guard Sabrina Ma drives in the paint to put UCSD on the board, but the Tritons are struggling to find their rhythm. Just over six minutes into the first quarter, the Aggies lead 13-8. 

2:42 p.m. The semifinal is underway in Henderson, Nevada. Two of UCSD’s three conference losses this season have come at the Aggies’ hands. Last time out, UCD redshirt senior center Megan Norris nabbed a conference-record 29 rebounds to defeat the Tritons in triple overtime. This time, UCSD will have to control the glass to advance to tomorrow’s final against No. 4 seed Hawai’i.
