Literature Professor Passes Away At 52

Department of literature professor Rosemary Marangoly George passed away on Oct. 18, after 20 years of service at UCSD.

As a professor, George focused on British and South Asian literature, also taking part in creating the Literatures of the World program at UCSD.

“Her books offer nuanced and richly textured studies of the relationship of literature to the worlds of British India, modern South Asia and South Asian diaspora, and all are characterized by her intelligence and unique sensibility,” Dean of Arts and Humanities Seth Lerer said in a campus notice.

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your blog.

It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often.
Did you hire out a designer to create your theme?
    Outstanding work!
