UCSD’s William J. von Liebig Center for Entrepreneurism and
Technology Advancement has commenced plans to extend its services campuswide.
Housed within the Jacobs School of Engineering, the von Liebig Center was
recently honored by the Kauffman Foundation for providing exemplary early-stage
commercialization assistance.
During the first phase of its expansion, the center is
offering advisory and business mentoring services to campus researchers seeking
assistance with the analysis of their inventions’ commercial potential and
searching for alternative pathways toward commercialization. The center is also
conducting a series of entrepreneurial seminars open to the campus.
In addition to these services, the von Liebig Center is
partnering with the City of
to provide a local solicitation for clean technology proposals this summer.
