Summer Movie Preview: ""Evan Almighty""

Apparently, “”Ace Ventura”” was a special exception – Jim Carrey declined to reprise his role from “”Bruce Almighty,”” stating that he wasn’t particularly interested in being the same character twice. Normally, this would be a severe blow to consistency and plot flow – but with funnyman Steve Carell as the new protagonist, not much comedic effect or skill should be missing in the –follow-up sequel, “”Evan Almighty.””
