12:19 a.m.: Officers arrested a 33-year-old male nonaffiliate near the embankment east of 8600 La Jolla Shores Drive for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for being drunk in public. Transported to Central Jail. Bail: $5,000.

9:35 a.m.: Units and paramedics responded to a 36-year-old male staff member complaining of shoulder pain. Transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital by paramedics.

1:04 p.m.: A staff member reported the theft of cash from the Science Engineering Research Facility. Loss: $1,100.

3:15 p.m.: A student reported the theft of a laptop computer from a shuttle bus. Loss: $3,775.
