A reporter alerted officers to shouting and stomping coming from Earth Hall North, which the student believed was a group attacking a male.
11:47 a.m.: Suspicious package
A possible suspicious package, left by a person wearing latex gloves, was identified at Price Center Theater.
11:25 p.m.: Suspicious person
A 30-year-old white male in a motorcycle jacket followed customers in and out of Earl’s Place. The reporter was concerned that the man was going to follow a group of female customers home. Unable to locate.

12:08 a.m.: Harassing phone call
A student in the Thurgood Marshall College residence halls reported multiple harassing phone calls from a male with a restricted number. The calls were described as sexual in nature.
8:34 a.m.: Report of vandalism
A reporter called from Price Center to report a vandalized golf cart, which had its window spray-painted.
Tuesday, May 1
9:34 a.m.: Psychiatric disturbance
A 30-year-old white male at Bates Hall was reported as having “”chronic strange behavior.”” Field interview administered.
7:44 p.m.: Preserve the peace
A resident of Miramar Street called officers after he asked his ex-roommate to move out of his apartment. The reporter said he was afraid the roommate would behave aggressively when returning to get his things.

2:45 p.m.: Vehicle burglary
A six-foot-tall white male, wearing a blue hat and a yellow shirt, was seen trying to break into a vehicle in Lot 102 with a slim jim. Checks OK.
6:19 p.m.: Armed suspicious person
A white female in her 50s walked out of Pepper Canyon carrying a three-inch folding knife. The woman said she found the knife at a crime scene, and then declared the police were “”corrupt”” and dropped the weapon. Field interview administered.

5:03 a.m.: Suspicious person
An employee of Scripps Institution of Oceanography reported a black male in a gray sweatshirt and green pants who was seen heading away from the elevators. The employee claimed to be concerned due to recent vending machine break-ins. Unable to locate.
10:40 a.m.: Domestic violence
A nurse at Thornton Hospital called officers when a woman, claiming to be afraid of returning home due to domestic violence, refused to leave the hospital. Gone on arrival.
11:29 a.m.: Assist other agency
Officers were asked to help locate a short black female, considered a suspect in an armed robbery. She was last seen heading eastbound on Executive Way.
10:24 p.m.: Citizen contact
A woman contacted police when she returned home from work and discovered that candles had been lit in her living room. She said that she did not light the candles herself and her roommate was out of town at the time, so she did not know who would have done it. Checks OK.
