3:21 p.m.: Suspicious person

A black male carrying an envelope of crumpled papers walked up to the fourth floor of the Engineering Building. The man was reportedly talking about heaven and requesting refreshments. Unable to locate.

Saturday, Feb. 24

9:31 a.m.: Vandalism

Six teenagers were seen with spray paint on top of Mandeville Center. Unable to locate.

Sunday, Feb. 25

12:32 a.m.: General disturbance

A female detained outside Porter’s Pub punched out a glass window and sustained cuts to her hand. Field interview administered.

5:08 a.m.: Welfare check

A subject notified police when that person’s son called and said, “”They’re coming to get me; please help me!””

Monday, Feb. 26

4:17a.m.: Animal call

A security guard told officers that a raccoon was pinned underneath some rocks at a marine facility on Rosecrans Street. Referred to other agency.

6:37 p.m.: Suspicious person

Several people reported a white male sitting in a small white vehicle outside the ATMs in Price Center. The reporters claimed they were afraid he was stealing personal identification numbers. Unable to locate.

7:09 p.m.: Suspicious person

A white male with glasses hid underneath a secretary’s desk in the Engineering Building. The man claimed he was hiding there because someone had threatened him. He left after giving his driver license to the reporter. Report taken.

Tuesday, Feb. 27

1 a.m.: Noise disturbance

Students in North America Hall were confronted by officers when they screamed out of a window. Will cooperate.

10:14 a.m.: Accident report

Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Voigt Drive and Gilman Drive. One woman involved in the accident was reported to have head injuries. Report taken.

8:14 p.m.: Psychiatric disturbance

A German male in his 30s sent an e-mail to the police chief claiming he was being harassed by “”a Latina”” in Geisel Library. Report taken.

11:42 p.m.: Noise disturbance

Loud music, running and giggling were reported in Challenger Hall. Field interview administered.

Wednesday, Feb. 28

9:14 a.m.: Noninjury accident

A catering truck hit a dumpster outside Cafe Ventanas. Report after pursuit.

9:53 a.m.: Suspicious circumstances

A black trash bag was discovered on a footpath north of Salk Institute Road. Unfounded.

3:17 p.m.: Citizen contact

A bicyclist reported an accident that had taken place on Feb. 21, in which the reporter changed lanes and caused a motorcyclist to crash on Gilman Drive.

Thursday, March 1

12:48 a.m.: General disturbance

A community service officer reported that six males kicked a car in Lot 701. According to the CSO, they were last seen heading onto Gilman Drive. Unable to locate.

11:14 p.m.: Citizen contact

Officers responded to the Biomedical Library when a possible transient stood outside the door after hours and requested access from graduate students. Field interview administered.
