Saturday, Feb. 3

3:48 a.m.: Carjacking

A subject was hit in the head with a bottle outside Meteor Hall as an unknown subject attempted to steal the person’s vehicle. The subject was described as bleeding from the head. Unable to locate.

5:20 p.m.: General disturbance

A 60-year-old male in a black coat and jean skirt caused a disturbance when he refused to leave Thornton Hospital.

Sunday, Feb. 4

5:07 p.m.: Welfare check

Officers stopped to check on the driver of a black sedan stopped on the side of La Jolla Village Drive who was described as looking disoriented. Field interview administered.

Monday, Feb. 5

12:25 a.m.: Suspicious vehicle

Police were called to the Matthews Apartments when the driver of a dark sport utility vehicle threw a possible firecracker out the window. He was described as a long-haired, black or Latino male in his early 20s. Gone on arrival.

5:36 p.m.: Suspicious person

A black male carrying a Starbucks bag asked passersby for money near the Sun God statue. Unable to locate.

Tuesday, Feb. 6

3:27 a.m.: Suspicious person

A male in dark clothing was seen sneaking around the Thurgood Marshall College Uppers Apartments. Unable to locate.

12:20 p.m.: Medical aid

Officers were called to Tioga Hall when a 19-year-old male apparently overdosed on an unknown substance.

12:31 p.m.: Suspicious person

A white male in a blue T-shirt and jeans yelled at passersby in Price Center courtyard.

5:45 p.m.: Gas leak

An employee of the Science and Engineering Research building reported that the ceiling was leaking a light green-colored fluid. Referred to other agency.

Wednesday, Feb. 7

12:09 a.m.: Call for help

A resident adviser in Eleanor Roosevelt College reported hearing a female screaming from an unknown location. Arrest felony.

9:41 a.m.: Death

A male student was discovered unconscious in his Middle East Hall apartment. The reporter was unable to wake the subject up, and was not sure if he was breathing. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. Report taken.

3:17 p.m.: Noninjury accident report

Two university vehicles collided at Campus Services Complex B. Report taken.

9:40 p.m.: Medical aid

A female in her 50s or 60s was spotted lying on the ground in Lot 208, bleeding from the nose. The woman apparently complained of arm pain and said that she bounced off the hood of a car. Report taken.

Thursday, Feb. 8

2:42 p.m.: Extra patrol

A female reported that a 40-something, large-built male was loitering around the Price Center Ballroom area. The reporter said that she had conversed with the man a month earlier in front of Whole Foods, and that she was unsure if she had given him any personal information. The man was neither threatening nor suggestive toward her, but made her uneasy, she said.

7:01 p.m.: Report of stolen vehicle

A suspect attempted to steal a silver Chevrolet from Lot 355. Report taken.
