Third party candidates paid no attention

Regarding Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry’s visit to UCSD:
Although I was both thrilled and awe-struck that such a political figure visited our campus, I am disturbed by the extreme level of media attention placed solely upon him and President Bush without any regard to third party candidates. Since I find it very difficult to believe that students, along with all American citizens, are fully satisfied with only these two candidates, it seems reasonable to assume that if our media recognized and gave equal opportunity to a plurality of candidates, then all citizens could enjoy more individualized options while adding respect and participation toward the political process as a whole.
