This marks the first and last time I will ever write for the Guardian in my four years here. As first a staff artist and then the Art Editor for two years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with every discipline in the paper, bringing to life in vibrant color the visuals that draw readers into the incredible stories being told by my peers. Being a part of The Guardian has kept art in my life through the years, and I take immense pride in the work I’ve done and the amazing team I led. I look back on my time in The Guardian and regard it as one of the most meaningful experiences of these past four years, and I feel lucky to have been a part of such a wonderful organization. I hope my art made someone happy, or encouraged someone to pursue art themselves, as doing this art has made me very happy, and I want everyone to experience the joy being at The Guardian has given me.
