    9:58 a.m.: Suspicious person

    A transient sat on the fountain outside Price Center and held up a sign asking for help. The man was described as uncooperative. Field interview administered.

    11:02 a.m.: General disturbance

    A male in Lot 408 called police when another driver blocked his car in and refused to let him exit the lot. The second man claimed that the reporter had parked in his space. Canceled after dispatch.

    8:41 p.m.: Suspicious person

    A tall white male in a black cape walked off with construction cones from a site on Naga Way. Unable to locate.

    Saturday, Feb. 17

    1:27 p.m.: Prisoner

    A male student was detained for allegedly shoplifting from the bookstore. Checks OK.

    7:47 p.m.: Person down

    A white male, possibly wearing a hard hat, was seen sleeping outside the North Mesa Apartments on Miramar Street. Arrest misdemeanor.

    8:30 p.m.: Drunk in public

    A white male in his 40s, wearing a dress shirt, black pants and flip-flops, refused to leave a marine facility on Rosecrans Street. Checks OK.

    9:46 p.m.: Drunk in public

    Two people were discovered to be intoxicated in the Price Center Ballroom. Arrest misdemeanor.

    Sunday, Feb. 18

    3:01 p.m.: Person down

    Medics were summoned to the intersection of Gilman Drive and Meyers Drive for an unknown reason. Referred to other agency.

    8:54 p.m.: Welfare check

    The father of a Thurgood Marshall College student called officers when he could not contact the student that day. According to the reporter, they had last spoken the prior afternoon.

    Monday, Feb. 19

    1:38 a.m.: General disturbance

    Two Asian males, reportedly brothers, were fighting outside Sixth College Building 705. Field interview administered.

    8:45 p.m.: Citizen contact

    A female in the Marshall Uppers contacted police, claiming she was being stalked.

    Tuesday, Feb. 20

    1:25 a.m.: Suspicious person

    Four white males in hooded sweatshirts broke into vehicles in Lot 208 and stole various items. Arrest felony.

    11:55 p.m.: Noise disturbance

    A Tioga Hall resident called officers to report “”banging”” from residents of the floor above. Quiet on arrival.

    Wednesday, Feb. 21

    1:28 a.m.: Report of battery

    A student in the Sixth College Apartments alleged that the reporter’s roommate had hit the student. The student called from a resident adviser’s apartment.

    7:18 a.m.: General disturbance

    A black male in his 30s refused to stop blowing leaves onto another person at the Grove Caffe.

    6:37 p.m.: Injury

    A bicyclist fell down between Craft Center and Bonner Hall, sustaining a shoulder injury.

    Thursday, Feb. 22

    2:13 p.m.: Welfare check

    Officers were asked to check on a resident of Discovery Way after the reporter noticed a bad smell coming from the apartment. The reporter had not seen anyone entering or leaving the apartment in about two weeks.

    10:20 p.m.: Stolen vehicle

    A 1995 Acura was stolen from Lot 102. Report taken.
