Alan Maisel, author of “”Bedside Manners”” and UCSD professor of medicine, will appear at the first floor of the UCSD Bookstore at 4 p.m. “”Bedside Manners”” is a medical thriller about an intern thrown into a plot to erase an ugly chapter of the 20th century. Performing Arts: DVC Presents Transformers 2

The DJs and Vinyphiles Club will sponsor the party, which is scheduled to take place at 5 p.m. in the Price Center Ballrooms. This is the DVC’s largest party of the year and is absolutely free.
