Site Seen: ADDO Art Festival

It’s also a chance for artists and visitors alike to score some free food, not to mention free networking. If you’re an artist yourself, you might just find yourself striking a conversation with a future collaborator.

The festival will be open for browsing from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. each day in the Price Center East Ballroom — ending with a “wrap party” on the last day. Original artwork of all kinds — live performances, installations, gallery work, portfolios and more — by UCSD artists from all disciplines and academic levels will be presented throughout the space. The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, ArtPwr, Calit2, San Diego Asian Film Foundation and Triton TV are also expected to participate.

In addition, there’ll be a discussion panel held on May 30 at 7 p.m. featuring various faculty and staff members from the Music, Visual Arts and Theatre and Dance Department.

By bringing together UCSD’s diverse art community, ADDO creates a cross-disciplinary social network while displaying an array of art forms through different mediums in one giant exhibition.

    When: May 29 – May 31, 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
    Where: Price Center East Ballroom
    Price: Free
