Screenwriter Robert Siegel (‘The Wrestler’) makes his directing debut with ‘Big Fan,’ an underdog dramedy shadowing 35-year-old parking garage attendant Paul, who lives at home with his mom and calls himself the ‘world’s biggest New York Giants fan.’ One night, he spots linebacker Quantrell Bishop at a gas station and follows him to a club ‘mdash; but just when Paul finally gathers enough courage to talk to his idol, he is beaten to a bloody pulp and hospitalized.
